The Black Hebrew Israelites And The Unshaved Hair And Beard [YAHUWAH]

It has come to my attention that there are those who teach that it breaks the law of the Creator for a Black Hebrew Israelite (as they are called/see note) to shave, trim, or make bald their head or shave, trim, or make bald their beard.

I would like to share with you the revelation that YAHUWAH has given me about this matter.

I believe the true name of the black and brown biological seed of Abaraham and Yaaqab (Jacob) is ABARY YAHSHARAHAL.

What Is “Verbal Context”?

“Verbal context refers to the text or speech surrounding an expression (word, sentence, or speech act). Verbal context influences the way an expression is understood; hence the norm of not citing people out of context.”

We do not want to cite YAHUWAH out of “verbal context”, therefore, let’s take a look at the law about shaving or not shaving the hair and beard in the “verbal context” that it is presented to us in the book of Luwy (H3878 Leviticus).

The People Shall Not

Luwy (Leviticus) 19:27-28

The “verbal context” of the law concerning what the people “shall not” do is “FOR THE DEAD.”

The Priest Shall Not

Luwy (Leviticus 21:1-4)

1 “And YAHUWAH said unto Mashah (Moses), Speak unto the priests the ban (“sons”) of Aharuwn (Aaron), and say unto them, THERE SHALL NONE BE DEFILED FOR THE DEAD among his people: 2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his ban (“son”), and for his daughter, and for his brother, 3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled. 4 BUT HE SHALL NOT DEFILE himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.”

The “verbal context” of the law concerning what the priest of the seed of Aharuwn (Aaron) “shall not” do is “FOR THE DEAD.”

The Priest Shall Not

Luwy (Leviticus) 21:5-6

5 “They shall not MAKE BALDNESS UPON THEIR HEAD, neither shall they SHAVE OFF THE CORNER OF THEIR BEARD, nor MAKE ANY CUTTINGS IN THEIR FLESH. 6 They shall be qadashyam (set-apart people) unto their Alahyaham, and not profane the name of their Alahyaham: for the offerings of YAHUWAH made by fire, and the bread of their Alahyaham, they do offer: therefore they shall be qadash (set-apart).”

The “verbal context” of the law concerning what the priest “shall not” do is “FOR THE DEAD.”

The Context Is “FOR THE DEAD”

Neither the people in general nor the priest shall:

However, it does not mean that a person can not ROUND, MAKE BALD, MAR, or SHAVE the head or beard under no circumstances.

Head Shaving

“Head shaving is the practice of shaving the hair from a person’s head. At different times and places people have shaved, all or part of, their heads for very diverse reasons: practical, convenience, low maintenance, religious, cultural, or aesthetic—so a shaven head has widely varying connotations depending on the context.”

Some Men Shave The Head For Religious Reasons

Some Women Shave The Head For Religious Reasons

“Some Hindu and most Buddhist monks and nuns shave their heads upon entering their order”

Some Children Are Shaved For Religious Reasons

An Inappropriate Response To DEATH

Be aware that both the words ROUND (H5362 naqap) and MAR (H7843 shachat) mean to DESTROY the HAIR or DESTROY the BEARD, therefore, the words ROUND and MAR can point to the PLUCKING OUT OR PULLING OUT OF THE HAIR AND BEARD WITH THE BARE HANDS when one experience grief FOR THE DEAD. In other words, we don’t need a “tool” like a razor, scissors, or hair clippers to DESTROY the HAIR and BEARD.

The law is about how the people of YAHUWAH “shall not” respond to DEATH in their time of grief.

“Scarifying (also scarification modification) involves scratching, etching, burning / branding, or superficially cutting designs, pictures, or words into the skin as a permanent body modification.[1] In the process of body scarification, scars are formed by cutting or branding the skin by varying methods (sometimes using further sequential aggravating wound healing methods at timed intervals, like irritation), to purposely influence wound healing to scar more and not scar less.”

Ye Shall Not Do Certain Things To Your Skin

In addition to the “hair laws”, the people of YAHUWAH were given “skin laws”.

The “verbal context” of the law concerning what the people “shall not” do is “FOR THE DEAD.”

Women With Scarification

The Tattoo

“A tattoo is a form of body modification, made by inserting indelible ink into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment.”

The tattoo is a popular modern form of scarification. I use to have the name of someone tattooed on me, but when the friendship ended, I had the name on the tattoo covered up with a neutral “message”, but I still have a permanent tattoo reminder of my past sins.

Body Tattoo
Tattooing among females of the Koita people of Papua New Guinea traditionally began at age five and was added to each year, with the V-shaped tattoo on the chest indicating that she had reached marriageable age, 1912.

Examples Of Tribal Body Mutilation FOR THE DEAD

According to the book entitled “Bodies Under Siege: Self-mutilation Nonsuicidal Self-Injury and Body Modification In Culture And Psychiatry” by Armando R. Favazza, the practice of cutting exist in some tribes as follows:

1.Hottentot widows would cut off a finger upon remarriage to release the dead husband from the bond of marriage.

2.Hawaiian aboriginal tribe survivors of the deceased practiced “finger amputation, pull out their teeth, burn themselves, tattoo their tongues, and cut off their ears”

3.New Guinea aboriginal people cut off the first and second joint of the index and middle finger after the death of a near relative

YAHUWAH Is Not Against The Shaved Head Or Shaved Beard

The Creator YAHUWAH DOES NOT FORBID His people nor the Man Kind in general from shaving or cutting the hair or beard. YAHUWAH is against ABUSE OF THE BODY (all parts) FOR THE DEAD or FOR THE ALIVE.

There obviously was a practice in ancient times to honor the dead or to worship the dead through shavings or cuttings in the hair or beard, printings (tattoos) on the skin, and cuttings in the skin to express grief and sorrow. Some may have been overcome with grief to the point that they pulled out their hair and beard. Some of these practices still exist today.

Modern Tributes To The Dead

When a family member dies, there are those who will shave the name of that family member as a design in their hair or they may tattoo the name of the person on their skin. During holidays such as Martin Luther King day, some people may shave the initials M.L.K. as a design in their hair. They may get the name of a dead famous leader or dead celebrity imprinted as a permanent tattoo. There are also those who are physically alive, but they are dead in the ruwach (H7307 “spirit”). We should not shave, imprint, or cut our bodies for them either.

Ye Still Shall Not Sorrow For The Dead In The Wrong Way

1 Thessalonians 4:13 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are ASLEEP (KOIMAO), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”

A form of the law of YAHUWAH about our behavior over and FOR THE DEAD is repeated in the instruction of the apostle to us that we should not sorrow (grieve) FOR THE DEAD as the unbelievers who have no hope. The people of YAHUWAH do have hope in the coming of YAHUWSHUWAH HaMashyach (The Messiah) and the promise of a resurrection or change into an immortal body.

Thou Ought Love Thine Own Body

Ephesians 5:28-29

28 “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Aduwny (G2962 kurios; Adonai) the ekklesia (G1577 church):”

Love Thy Flesh And Body

It is a normal thing that we should love our own flesh and bodies, therefore, even though the verbal context in Luwy (Leviticus) is in the context of and reference to “FOR THE DEAD”, the people of YAHUWAH should not abuse their flesh and bodies with inappropriate hair cuts and shavings, inappropriate beard cuts and shavings, prints (tattoos) on the skin, and inappropriate cuts in the skin even when they are not “FOR THE DEAD.”

There still are laws and instruction that govern cuts, shaves, and prints to the body.

There Are Acceptable Reasons To Cut The Skin

Genesis 2:21 “And YAHUWAH Alahyam caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

YAHUWAH is the first surgeon who used anesthesia (“deep sleep”) and surgery on the first man. Surgery is an example of an acceptable reason why we may need to cut the skin. We may need to cut the skin to drain pus from an abscess or boil or to remove water that accumulates in the body due to infection.

Forehead Advertising

“Forehead Advertising is a type of nontraditional advertising that involves using a person’s forehead as advertising space.”

Forehead advertising is an example of imprints on the body that are forbidden for the people of YAHUWAH.

The “Forehead Guy”

“Forehead advertising made headlines in January and February 2005 when a 20-yeard-old man, Andrew Fischer, auctioned his forehead for advertising space on eBay.[7] The winning company, SnoreStop, bid $37,375 for Fischer to display the company’s logo via temporary tattoo on his forehead for 30 days.[8] After this auction, Fischer became known internationally as the “Forehead Guy.”[9] His website,, last reported that Fischer was working as an operator of several web forums.”

Permanent Body Tattoo Advertisements

“In June 2005, forehead advertising moved beyond temporary tattoos. Kari Smith auctioned her forehead for advertising space on eBay[10] for an asking price of $10,000.[11] Bidding reached $999.99 before, a Canadian Internet gambling company, bid $10,000 for Smith to permanently tattoo on her forehead. has also advertised its logo via temporary and permanent tattoos on the backs of boxers, bellies of pregnant women, women’s legs, and the chest of a swimsuit model.[12]”

Lease Your Body

“In August 2005, a Miami-based start-up, Lease Your Body, was launched by Alex Fisher.[13] Lease Your Body allowed advertisers to meet good-looking people willing to rent out space on their bodies, including necks, upper arms, forearms, hands, stomachs, lower backs, and foreheads, for temporary tattoo placement. Rates for these body parts cost anywhere from $100 to $5,000.”

“Cranial Billboards”

“Most recently, forehead advertising has moved beyond the forehead and onto the entire skull. In 2009, Terry Gardner of California shaved her head to display a temporary tattoo for Air New Zealand on the back of her head.[14] The company called these ads “cranial billboards.” Approximately 30 people participated in this advertising campaign.”

Revelation 13:16-17

16 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their RIGHT HAND, or in their FOREHEADS: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

The Creator YAHUWAH warns us that the kingdom of The Beast wants to MARK us in these last days. The people of YAHUWAH should avoid “all” imprints on the body and skin, especially those with a focus on the RIGHT HAND and FOREHEAD.

The Circumcised Of The Covenant

Genesis 17:9-11

9 “And Alahyam said unto Abaraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. 10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.”

The skin cutting of circumcision of the “man child” of the seed of Abaraham and Yaaqab (Jacob) is an example of a skin cutting that is permitted by the law of YAHUWAH.

“Hirsutism is the excessive hairiness[1] on women[2] in those parts of the body where terminal hair does not normally occur or is minimal — for example, a beard or chest hair. It refers to a male pattern of body hair (androgenic hair) and it is therefore primarily of cosmetic and psychological concern. Akin to the modern day hypertrichosis (werewolf syndrome) or the historical figure wild man. Hirsutism is a medical sign rather than a disease and may be a sign of a more serious medical condition, especially if it develops well after puberty.”

Annie Jones A Bearded Woman

My Female Beard

I am a black woman who grows facial hair under my chin which I do not like, therefore, I prefer to shave under my chin to remove it, however, there are some women who prefer not to shave their facial hair.

I am also a woman who in the past has found the facial hair on a man an irritant when it brushes or rubs against my face, therefore, I “preferred” a shaven faced man.

The Glory And Shame Of Long Hair

1 Corinthians 11:14-15

14 “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.”

There is no getting around the truth that The Word (Bible) states that long hair is a shame unto a man, but long hair is a glory to a woman “if” she has long hair.

The Bald Headed WomanAnd The Long Haired Man

The women of YAHUWAH want to make it perfectly clear that we are women and not men, and we don’t want to cause any confusion about the matter. Our hair can be used and adorned in a way to help demonstrate that fact. Most of us have had an experience in which we have ask the question, “Is that a man or a woman?” The people of YAHUWAH, whether male or female, do not want people asking this question about us. We are told that “long hair” on a woman is a glory to her, but some women cannot grow real long hair. However, we can style whatever hair we do have in a feminine style rather than a style that can be referred to as a “butch cut.” The women of YAHUWAH should not be deliberately shaven bald. We are, also, told that it is a shame for a man to have long hair.

Holiday Cuts And Shaves

There are many occasions and celebrations such as Memorial Day which are dedicated FOR THE DEAD of the Man Kind or the “supposed” dead of the fallen angels (see note) on the earth in these last days that people go to the barber or beauty shop to get their hair CUT and/or beard SHAVED to attend.

The people of Creator YAHUWAH need to assess our lives to determine “if” we are among those who are guilty of this practice.

Note: The fallen angels pretend to die.

How Do I Look?

Philippians 4:4-5

4 “Rejoice in Aduwny (Adonai) alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Aduwny (Adonai) is at hand.”

We must learn moderation in all things including our physical appearance and adornment in preparation for the appearance of YAHUWSHUWAH HaMashyach (The Messiah). We must ask ourselves on a daily basis: “Do I want to look like this when he appears?” or “Do I want to be doing this when he appears?” or “Do I want to be speaking this when he appears?”

How To Love Our Body

Use moderation in hairstyle, haircuts, and beard cuts such as no names, no messages, and no profanity shaved into the head or beard.

Avoid all prints (tattoos/scarification) on the skin.

No abusive cuts, rite of passage cuts, or vanity cuts in the skin.

We Can Cut And Shave Our Hair And Beard

The “verbal context” of the commandment in Luwy (Leviticus) about the ROUND, the MAR, the BALDNESS, and the SHAVE of the hair and beard does not mean that a man or woman cannot or should not shave or cut his or her hair or his or her beard at all. The Man Kind is free to cut and shave the hair and beard as long as it is not FOR THE DEAD and with MODERATION.

  1. You make a separation from the cutting of the hair for the dead, but then you continue on to say to not ever get a tattoo on your skin for any reason when the context was for the dead.

  2. Read 1 Timothy 2:11-12 Reading your post made me understand the importance of that scripture. You have good intentions but that verse exists for a reason.
